サンフランシスコ在住のデザイナー。ビジュアルデザインとインタラクションデザインを通じて、ブランドやプロダクトを構築しています。現在は All Turtles で、0→1のプロダクト構築と、既存のプロダクトの改善、そして mmhmm のマーケティングウェブサイトのデザインをしています。

2017年に結婚してアメリカに引っ越してきた際は、英語がまったく話せない状態でしたが、アメリカの企業でデザイナーとして働きたいという思いから、現地のプロダクトデザイナー養成所でデザインを学び直しました。30歳になってから英語を勉強し始めた私の体験を元に、2020年には『デザイナーの英語帳』という書籍を執筆しました。2021年から ニュースレター版・デザイナーの英語帳 も毎週配信しています。

日本国外で活躍するデザイナーやクリエイターをゲストに招いてお喋りする ポッドキャスト Export もやっています。

アメリカに来る前は、スタートアップで2人目のデザイナーをしていたり、クリエイティブエージェンシー SIXでブランディングのための映像制作や、映像に登場するUIビジュアルをデザインしていたりしました。

新潟県の村で生まれ育ち、中学生のときに不登校になりました。2年半引きこもり、家からまったく出ない日々でしたが、その時にインターネットに出会い、「ウェブデザイン」という言葉を知り、今に繋がっています。
